1. I use Vegetable Oils & Butters
These days many people are try to minimize the amount of toxins entering their bodies. However, not many people know that toxins can be absorbed through the skin in just seconds. Commercial soap purchased from stores is made of all kinds of chemicals and detergents. Boho Chica Soaps uses vegetable oils and butters. 4. Manufactured by Hand
Boho Chica Soaps products are handcrafted in small batches (it contains 20 soaps in every batch) or smaller to ensure excellent quality. I mainly use the Cold Process method, by combining Olive oil, Coconut oil, Castor oil, Palm oil, Grape Seed oil, Avocado oil, Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter with sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, and different milks and additives added to the base. All bars have abundantly rich, creamy and moisturizing bubbles. Therefore, I don’t need to add any artificial foaming agents. All the bars are cured on curing racks for almost a month. Sometimes, it takes longer time before they are shipped to your home. This assures both quality and mildness of the soap.
5. Cold process soap making
There are different ways to make soap. The Cold Process method takes longer time to work. Nevertheless, it is most beneficial to the skin. The cold process method is the act of mixing selected oil with lye water. The amount of lye water and oil is carefully calculated to ensure that all lye are out after the curing process. The main benefit of cold process is having complete control over the ingredients and keeping the nutrition and embroilment that are in the oils. Soaps are made in room temperature. So, the nutrition and properties in the oil are kept. Cold process soap requires 4-6 weeks to cure on racks before use.
6. Plus, I create a PIECE OF ART!
The most appealing factor about Boho Chica Soaps is that they are simply pieces of art. Some of my soaps often have intricate designs; Swirls, Lines, Textured, Pipping and Embeds. Every bar is one of a kind
