The Amazing Benefits Of Handmade Soaps:

What's in the bar?

The very best reason to use handmade soap is the ingredients. Handmade soaps are made of vegetable oils and butter that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and nutrients that are essential to healthy skin. Everyone wants healthy skin and switching to daily use handmade soap is the best place to start.

IT'S REAL SOAP!!!

I tell this, to many of my customers! just look up the ingredients of a soap bar from the grocery stores. Can you read and understand the ingredients? I can't!!! It is commonly called "SOAP", but that mass produced commercial stuff that you get at the grocery stores is garbage full of detergents and synthetic ingredients that dehydrate and age your skin. Labeled as "cleansers", "deodorant soap", "body bars" and "body wash". This causes your skin to age faster and causes allergic reactions, which are even linked to cancer.

Handmade soap is the real deal!!!

What is GLYCERIN? Why is so important in a soap?:

Glycerin isn't added to a handmade soap recipe- it's created during the soap making process. It is an awesome emollient that softens and maintains water balance by attracting moisture to your skin. It is proven to be beneficial to your skin and is extracted from commercial "soap" and used for more expensive body care and pharmaceutical products. Handmade soaps retain all of its natural glycerin and produce a rich and luxurious lather that is unparalleled to any other.

Many Soap Bars to choose from...

No matter what is your skin type or personal preferences, there is a handmade soap maker out there that is creating just what your skin needs. No all handmade soap is the same, there is a variety of recipes and scents for you to choose from.

What is Cold Process Soap Making?

I handmade my soaps by using the Cold Process (CP) method and I have a few batches where I use M&P (Melt & Pour) but I prefer the cold process method and

this is why:

Cold-pressed soap acts as a humectant, drawing moisture from the air to your skin. This is ideal for those with sensitive skin and conditions. It doesn't strip the skin of its natural oils as Commercial "Soaps" do.

In handmade soaps, the natural glycerin is retained, giving the soap extra moisturizing properties and making it creamy on the skin.

I work with small batches of soap batters at a time to have more control.

As soon as I'm done pouring the batter into the molds, I put it to set for

24 hrs. then I hand-cut it and place it in a cold place to cure for about

4-6 weeks. Why so long? well, in the batter, there is water content and that water has to evaporate. At the end of the curing time, I will have a soap bar that is gentle to the skin and long-lasting qualities.

It is important to place your handmade soap in a good drain soap dish, to ensure the longevity of your bar, as the natural glycerin absorbs moisture from the air.
